Have you ever had this problem: For breakfast, lunch and dinner its easy to come up with an abundance of ideas to eat but having quick snacks that actually feel you up is the problem.
Having plain nuts, hard boiled eggs or a bit of fruit is fine but its sometimes nice to mix it up a little. After searching for a while on Pinterest I came across a granola recipe byOw She Glows, I’ve taken out a couple of ingredients, simply because I didn’t have them and came up with these.
Its super tasty and only takes 10 minutes to make:.
3 medium bananas 2 cups rolled oats 3/4 cup dried cherries and blueberries 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup almonds, chopped 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp sea salt
Serves: 12-14 bars
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Get a large mixing bowl, mash up the bananas until smooth.
Add in the rest of the ingredients, mixing it together until its a relatively even mixture.
Pour the mixture into a baking tray with greaseproof paper and flatten out.
Compress it down with your hands or a roller to flatten the mixture out.
Bake it in the oven for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
